But can a cold wash really clean?

Hot water washers are great for gear housings with built up dust and grease – what they are not good for is internal parts, bearings and transmissions where rust, rust inhibitors and anything abrasive will cause more damage. If you have a hot water washer you must finish with a cold wash to remove potentially damaging caustic residue.

A cold wash is a cleaner wash.
